Natural does not mean everyone will tolerate every ingredient. A patch test helps you spot a reaction on a small area before you use a product more widely.
Steps
- Prepare a small amount of the product as directed
- Apply to a small area, such as the inner forearm or behind the ear
- Leave for the time shown in the directions, then rinse
- Wait and watch the area for a day or as the pack advises
If you notice a reaction
Rinse the area, stop using the product and speak to a doctor or pharmacist if the reaction is severe or persists.
